"Doozie" is an understatement. This came out (1984) when there was a real fear of nuclear confrontation with the Soviets. "The Day After" was the American-made movie which had shown the previous autumn and was fairly sanitized. When the Brits came out with Threads, it scared the crap out of more than a few of us. Very graphic. Very disturbing. I still have it on VHS.

Well Govs just got done watching "Threads" I'm going home to build a bomb shelter asap............ not really.

Took a couple days to watch it during lunch break, not such a good movie to watch when eating. Disturbing movie, but worth the watch if you like doom and gloom.

How about "Alive" now thats a good Rugby movie!

It bordered on a chick flick but it had some great baseball stuff in it:

"For Love of The Game".
