They were on a TV show depicting the AAA tourney on VS. I have it set to be recorded on Tuesday at like 2AM.

That is the movie "In the Crease" about the California Wave and their trip to Bantam nationals. An excellent movie if you haven't seen it.

I played against that 98' team and wow were they good, not a player out of position.

I believe they were a Midget Minor (U16) team.

The Wave team in In the Crease was U14, bantam.

They do mention at the end of the movie that many of the players on that U14 team won the national title the next year for the Wave at the U16 level.
