i was trying to make that just because a kid might be on a B team in one assocaition doesn't make him/her a lesser player then some kid on an A team in another association. I guess we just disagree. I think this thread is getting a little off point so if you respond you can have the last word.

I agree, most big associations have many B1 players that would make A-Teams at other associations. I just think you can do some harm to smaller associations if you let those bigger associations play up in level.
Thats all I was saying.

I have an idea. If you don't believe in Minnesota made then simply stay in your association.
Why worry about something that doesn't effect you? After all no squirt teams will be allowed to skate with any registered Minnhock teams.
Minnesota made squirts can play tourneys in Wisconsin if they elect to play. No worries!

No, they can't. They are not sanctioned by USA Hockey. Wisconsin follows the same ruels as MN Hockey does in this regard.
They can play in any unsanctined event (mostly in the off-season).
No worries!

Assuming these were MN Made teams...DuckDuckQuackQuack wrote:Elliot, Last year I know a couple Mite teams that went to Wisconsin to play in squirt tourneys. Some how they made it work. Any ideas?
My guess is at the mite level in Wisconsin they were looking for teams, they had inexperienced people ruinning the event, or it was not a sanctioned event.
As long as no one got hurt; everything should be fine. The local association could be sanctioned etc... by Wisconsin or USA Hockey, but for now all it is, is a rumor.
So no names, please.
If MN Hockey association teams, they will be addressed by VP tournaments and District Director, but again, at this stage it is just a rumor.
There are times when some things should just not be discussed, but then again there are times in which egos prevent people from keeping their mouths shut...Funny how a parents ego can make them say stupid things. Not that you are DuckDuck, but someone has obviously been talking about "stuff" that should just maybe be left alone...DuckDuckQuackQuack wrote:Elliot, Last year I know a couple Mite teams that went to Wisconsin to play in squirt tourneys.
