Interesting new team playing a top U19AAA schedule. They are mailing info and trying to recruit Minnesota girls to come and play - they don't mention price but has to be steep). They are different from Crunch as they are open '93-'89 look similar to Thoroughbreds but maybe tougher competition?

Boston Shamrocks U19AAA
Moderators: Mitch Hawker, east hockey, karl(east)
The Shamrocks are modeled on the Thoroughbreds, though with high interest from outside of the Boston area there is an educational component that has been added, and ultimately the program will be like the Warner School or NAHA. The team practices out of the Boston Bruins' training facility in Wilmington, Mass, with three two hour practices a week, plus twice weekly hour long sessions at Mike Boyles Strength & Conditioning after practice. The Shamrocks have their own locker room, with two stalls for each player (one for equipment and one for clothing). Travel to all team events is by team bus.
The educational component has several options. Players can stay in the local school and commute (Boston area girls) or live at the team residence and follow their school's curriculum online. There is also the option of attending Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen, MA, an all-girls parochial school of some 300 students. The final option is to follow the Kaplan College Prep Course online. All players receive SSAT/SAT test prep sessions as well as tutoring.

Thanks Hux very interesting to get insight from someone on the ground in the east - Thoroughbreds are a great model but this looks like a bigger effort.
Looks like a big effort by the people who have organized to play the best and try to fully develop the player and the student. Was surprised to see targeted mailers in Minnesota but shows their commitment to build a top program to compete with the best I guess.
