Super catch was reported to be a fake by MSN. Supposedly a stuntwoman and cables were used for an upcoming google ad. Pretty tricky though.

As I said before, Gatorade ad. They wanted a viral video with their product in it, much like the Powerade commercials.

Don't tell Bobber that. He isn't a big fan of Bass although I think he has a soft spot for him.

I don't like Bass or Harris, but neither of them have been too bad as of late.

Shows how much you know about baseball...

3 straight sweeps! Reminds me of two years ago around this time, someone started something and magic followed.

He once described the arrival of the Michigan Wolverines onto the gridrion for a game against the Gophers. "Michigan comes onto the field in blue jerseys and maize pants. And how they got into Mae's pants, I'll never know."

The Original "Holy Cow."

Several stories revolve around his love of distilled beverages and the satchel full of liquor bottles that he lugged along on road trips. If asked about the contents of his bag, he would say it contained reference books. "If that was the case," said one colleague, "they were the only reference books I ever knew of that clinked."

Joe Soucheray said Halsey had so many bottles in his satchel that, when he stepped off a plane, he sounded like a glockenspiel.

And then there was the time a cub reporter once asked the venerable Mr. Hall why he bothered carrying his own liquor; after all, every town they visited had a bar. "My boy," Halsey replied, "you never know when you'll run into a local election."

Slowey beats the Sheets out of the Brewers with a ChrisK's hero type performance. Very interesting.

14-4 for the haymakers. Very interesting indeed.

Cuddy is back on the DL, but Span should fill in nicely.

Twins vs the Tiggers to start the 2nd half. Keep the pedal to the floor boys...

7 of the next 13 leading into the All-Star break are against the Tigers. This could be a big chance to put them away for good... or vice versa. Detroit is playing their best ball of the year too... 17-4 over their last 21 games. Image

The good news?

They need to just go out and play .500 ball for a stretch and then get hot again. So far, every time this season that we thought they had something going, they go in a funk and its back to .500 or below.

They are 3rd in the league in runs scored.

See what happens when you

Deja vu anyone?

It didn't take long for the pen to do some "backsliding". They got to get their "mind right". Ain't that right Boss?

Great outing by Perkins.

Nice to get slapped back into reality.

What can you do though? You see a lot of other teams go to their bullpen, and you just know that they're going to take a pounding. That doesn't happen too often with the Twins. Generally, you know that they're going to be able to keep things in check, but things like this are going to happen on occasion.

The offense still had their hitting shoes on, and the starting pitching was still stellar, so as long as that continues, they move on and consider last night an anomaly.

At least it was fun watching Joe Mauer actually consider charging the mound! What a badass!

Thats a bad loss. 5 runs in 2 innings by Crain and his pals.

Rincon could have done that.

Get somebody in here who can pitch the 8th inning.

Where is Letroy Hawkins when you need him?
