Post by pistol »

The best looking goalie and one of the finest men ever to wear a Hill-Murray hockey jersey passed away on July 12th.

Scott Richards' funeral is tomorrow at the Grace Church in Eden Prairie.

Never heard of him. Condolences on the loss though. When was he at Hill?

That makes two players from the 79-80 team that have passed away. Mike King died a few years ago.

Thanks for asking to know more about Scott Richards.

He was more modest than Sparlimb;

more confident in his beliefs than Lee;

played hockey better than Slapshooter;

had more pride than Pioneerprideguy;

suffered with grace more greatly than Elloitt70;

loved Jesus more deeply than Packerboy;

funnier than Neutron14;

and better looking than even Ankles Pierre, Jr.

(plus he was a varsity goalie for two years at the greatest high school in Minnesota, played varsity football for the Minnesota Gophers, reached vice-president at his financial firm, and left behind an amazing wife, children, family and friends who are devastated by the loss).

A life cut short, but with the love of Jesus and this great of a legacy, obviously well lived. . . . my condolences!

Nice to know there was someone else in the world like myself. Thoughts and prayers for his family and friends.
