Let see.... Twins vs. White Sox: September 23-25.

Job #1 in that series? Earhole Griffey.

Set a tone...

I'm pretty sure that would do it, but I'd prefer it was AJ.

I'm wondering what GM-tana thinks this morning after the Mets didn't get any help. Is he going to pop off again?

They still have Castillo and his .261 average... he has no reason to be upset.

You're lucky you got in when you did, because I have no doubt that server will go down any time now with the influx of bandwagon jumpers.

Eh... We're all the same team here (at least during baseball season), so we're all entitled to dine on the post game feast of Shanty Burgers, and Irish Root Beers!

(I'll just sit at the head of the table for the next few days!)

So how you guys been, I got a new assignment at work and have been crazy busy for the last three months. I see the Kubel hating hasn't abated (way to hang in there Govs!), packerboy's still up to his old tricks and I don't know when Neutron and Govs find time to eat or sleep in between posting on here.

It's been a really fun season so far and I'm actually happy with how the starters have pitched and don't really miss Radke that much. Or GMtana. I would like to see the relievers leave their cans of gasoline in the bullpen but Nathan has been able to put the blanket over a lot of the fires they've started.

The bats have been solid for the most part, after a weak start Delmon Young is coming around and Morneau has been better than his MVP season.

I've been to about half a dozen games so far this year, the highlight of which was catching a Josh Hamilton batting practice home run in the upper right field seats (let me know if you want the full story). Life is good after watching the team take three from the hated White Sox.

The Factor is finally ova... No offense to PB, but thank the Lord - this is weeks overdue.

Also say good bye to everybody's favorite Rondell wannabe, Craig Monroe. It'll be interesting to see what this Ruiz kid has got going... I would assume that he'll be the right handed Kubel.

Just saw on the internet...

Liriano called up from Rochester AAA
Ruis is also called up, big kid 1B/DH

Livantana cut loose... Monroe also cut loose...

Finally a move I can agree with from the Twinkees! One week too late, one Livan start too late..

I still would have liked a trade deadline move including Beltre or Blaylock in infield, releasing Everett and work through infield injuries right now. A strong setup guy, like Guardado, leads in AL holds right now, would have been a good clubhouse fit as well...

Go Twinks! Like to see some props from ESPN once in blue moon as well, instead of 45 minutes into SportsCenter...
Go Twinks, keep it fun!

How bout them Twins? Who says we needed to make a move?

Can someone please explain to me why Billy thought it would be better to just release Livan instead of taking something, anything, for him?

Do you really think he could've got more than a bag of baseballs for him?

Nice to see you too, Neutron. Geez, a guy doesn't post for a couple of months and all of a sudden he doesn't exist.

Another nice win for the Twins last night.

he tried to trade them. The twins releasing Livan was going to happen, why not pick him up off waivers for free (except his salary, which youre probably paying for in a trade anyway). Same goes for Monroe, but who wants used junk?

After a disappointing offensive display last night, Punto and Lamb are leading the charge today with RBI triples. Thats right, THAT Punto and Lamb. Ya gotta be kiddin me!

Liriano had a decent outing, 6 innings 3 hits, 3 walks and 5 K's.

Were you on the DL Chris? You've missed 3 months of the season!

Let's file away August 3 as the possible date when the tides changed in the AL Central.

On top of getting an "old" version of Liriano back and patching the only obvious hole in the rotation, the Sox may have snapped. When you give up 23 runs on 38 hits in 2 games to the boofin' Royals, you've got real problems. Add to that the fact that Ozzie is going to get suspended for multiple games, and the fuse may have been lit on that powder keg today. Welcome to Chicago, Junior.

We shall see. It'll be interesting...
