Yankee stadium had all the fanfare and electricity in it tonight that the Stars/Blues prospects game had last night. Anyhow the team still cares and that's all that matters.
Thank you Yankees!

FINAL
The boys are tired and their bats showed it yesterday and today.
Five months of battling and one month of traveling is starting to show.

Oh... It's
Target Field .
Something was just brought to my attention that somehow seems to make the new name fit... anybody recall what the Target "slogan" is off the top of their head?
Expect More. Pay Less.
The Twins & Target... like a match made in heaven!

The Twins started at 7:30pm for a 6:05pm start.
I see they are currently digging out and Rincon is actually helping for once.

Get your women and children underground... Boooooof has actually kept the team in the game long enough for them to get back into it.

Nah.
1. Games is in Cleveland.
2. Larry Craig is... nevermind...
9-8 Twins after 8 1/2. The Twins NEED this after being down 8-1. Sacks packed for Punto with two out.
Offsetting the "shoulda wons" is a huge confidence boost.

Good gracious, somebody hit a gap or send it off the reservation with the bags packed. This fumble farting to get a run in where the pitcher has nowhere to put the batter has to stop.
Dewayne stinking Wise hit a salami the other night, it can be done.

Reverse everything, here's how teams who fumble fart fare in the 8th trailing by a run.
Young: bloop single
Casilla: pops out attempting to bunt. (1 out)
Punto: infield single
Gomez: K (2 outs)
Span: sharp single that is too hard so the runner can't score from 2nd
Mauer: lazy flyball to medium deep LF (3 out)

This one's over
Twins can't and haven't won this type of game in months because;
1) no instant offense
2) CLE has instant offense
3) being as though they're on the road, they'll save Nathan until they score, and they won't, and he won't pitch.
