brett mason

I was looking at the box score for the MG and blaine game last night and it says Brett Mason scored a goal. Last I heard he was out for the year with a shoulder injury. Can anyone comfirm that he scored or is this just a goof up.

I saw this too and heard he was out the whole season. So Im not sure. I was just wondering how the MG injury situation is going. Is Umland and Guasted back yet? And is Mason still out?

Mason IS back and DID predict his own goal right before it happened. Umland and Gaustad are also back. So with a full bench again, it could be interesting. Section run or at least hell of a spoiler.

Ok last try now that all the games are done.

Centennial
Champlin
Blaine
Osseo
Maple Grove
Coon Rapids
Rogers
Irondale
North Metro

5 and 6 could get switched with CR beating MG tonight?? they split this year and MG has the better overall record, and they both have the same section record?? MG lost their last 3, and CR won their last 3.
We will know tomorrow :D

I would probably go with that same list. Even though I think MG will get the nod over CR, CR seems to be more of a threat. With Randall, Verling, and Loisel really throwing up the numbers. Their goaltending blows though.

I don't see any upsets in the first round, with the possible exception of Osseo v Maple Grove (if that would be an upset? 4v 5)
I do think the second round could get very interesting. Especially Blaine verse Champlin!

All favorites should advance, and I think the Blaine vs Coon Rapids game has the most upset potential.

Oh good Rogers will go to the Semi's

Seriously though, how much will the injured CP player effect their game?

Grandner brought alot to the ice this year for CP and has been a huge part of the program the last three years. With all due respect to player #22, CP will work on. Like the rest of the CP team, Corey found success by shear hard work. That is what has gotten the team to where they are at now.

On the question as to whether or not they will be able to do some work without him, the answer is absolutely. Cp beat Osseo and Blaine with very limited play by Grandner. And they will bring everything they have to the section tourney. Dont look past them.

There is no one player o the team that is "the team." Sappy and corny as it may sound, CP is a wholesome team.

I heard Rogers got new jerseys this year. Royal blue with a yellow stripe down the back.
