Totally got that beat. OMGHA has a peewee team completely coached by board members, including a girls director who USED TO BE against girls playing with boys, but now for her daughter it seems ok.

Hey, you should have seen how many people are sharing that IP with similar email addresses. That should tell you something.

Does this thread have any chance of being constructive? (Hint: I know the answer)

The poll looks pretty even to me (so far). And since when is everything positive on this board? I know its tough to get people to join hockey boards and shame on me I've never done it, but when its so blatent that 100% of the people on a team contact page are on the board or married to a board member ... thats all.

There are a lot of great people on hockey, baseball, football boards. Its just when some of these people are rabid about the rules UNTIL it applies to their daughter/son that they bring the negative on themselves.

My opinion. Sorry about the poll.

If this is about your other negative post about the OMGHA PWB2 team don't you think they if they were to abuse their power they would have had their kids move up from B2 to B1? Or, are you simply saying you don't like them as people? - if that is the case, get some psychological help or better yet why don't you volunteer and stick you neck out and start making decisions on behalf of a large group of people but that is probably too uncomfortable for you to even consider.

Actually that may have been the original idea. These are the same people that wanted 3 B1 teams even after everyone told them there wasn't enough talent. Were they trying to create some additional B1 opportunities that unfortunately just didn't work out. Now you have 15 B2 kids playing B1 and ONE C team, meaning you probably have 15 C players playing B2. Should be a long season. Isn't it supposed to be fun?

Those types of decisions are made at every organization and that is what an association BOD is supposed to deciding upon! To say that they had a personal agenda is crazy. As far as you having fun question - yes, it is fun but stop trying to ruin for the individuals you incriminated by taking your pot shots - instead, put your energy to use in a positive manner and go watch you kid and support him.

PropPolice - as a board member and coach in OMGHA I would love to hear more about your thoughts on this and to provide you with some facts you appear to be missing or have incorrect. Care to take me up on this? Here's your opportunity to get involved. I'll respect you much more for coming forward to discuss this than I ever will for this thread of yours.

By the way.................... Be careful! The good old boys club does not like anyone to be critical of any association.
