Well spellchecker.....Geuss we will have to agre to disagre on this subject..Spellchecker wrote:noticeisnice wrote:Andrew Herlofsky, formerly Wisconsin Fire. Now attends Hill-Murray. Excellent defensemen.
(oops I found 3 spelling errors in that sentence). But I guess I care more about the atmospheric pressure on the planet Pluto than I do about your opinion about who I feel is a good hockey player. If you were a true adult, you would not put any child down on this forum I can't imagine doing such an immature act...sick.

Pioneers
Herlofsky is a solid player who can play anywhere on the ice.
He is one of those kids who wasn't a top 5 best pee wee, isn't a top 5 Bantam but is a contributer who will blossom in high school. He has good ice vision, good work ethic and good size, and is a solid young man. He's the type of kid you want on your roster.

If your local association doesn't offer the level you want to play at, many associations and districts will let you waiver out to try out at another association...if that other association will have you.54fighting wrote:It was not his choice. If he lives in Spring Lake Park he had no other options. District 10 has made it very clear they will not allow anyone to waiver out regardless of weather or not the home association fields an A level team.
Oreo, have to jump in here. Normally I only post when I have some real information but the fact you keep talking about New Ulm and your teammates like you play for Edina is a joke. There might be a couple of kids that are pretty good for D4 like Peterson and Schreckenberg let's look at this year's Bantam team and how they have done historically. Nice group for D4 but as Squirt A's and PeeWee A's they didn't finish in the top 3 or 4 in playoffs from what I know. Squirt A playdown was won by Faribault over St. Peter and PeeWee A was won by St. Peter over Albert Lea.
In looking at this year's Bantams you may be lucky that St. Peter, New Prague, and Faribault have all lost a couple kids to high school, Shattuck, etc. Still would be suprised if New Ulm beats out Mankato and maybe Albert Lea depending on losses to each. St. Peter would be a favorite for this group but with a couple of key losses just doesn't have depth in numbers to do much.
What I would stick to is that you and your team is the best team there is in Bantam A's......West of Mankato. Hope that makes you feel better.

Steelheader & Muck,
Trust me when I say this, the D10 director has been approched directly along with the MN hockey president on this exact case. This skater lived in St Francis before he moved and they do not field an A team either. The response was " we have a no waiver policy in D10 and we are not going to change it period". That is why he has been skating with the Fire the last few years.
Anyway that is a whole new post.
