Best A PeeWee players?
Just wondering who the best A PeeWee players are...the tall (6') kid from AV last year was very good (size helps) but you need skill and he had that as well...he is still peewee age but heard he is trying out for AV High School as an 8th grader! Can anyone confirm? Player from Wazata (center) is pretty good...anyone else?
Thanks.[/b]

Perhaps Reg7? Come on! You don't have to dig too deep within this board to see the far too many "best of" threads/inquiries/self serving solicitations, including the 95, 96 and 97 levels which comprise the 08-09 Peewee level. The season is early - very early. Some teams have yet to play their first game/scrimmage. The Peewee level will be very competitive with many talented teams and players. Enjoy.

MNWILD2009
1) EGF, pretty good team #2 Dist 16, altough they rely on 1 line a lot. 2 recruits from other assoc. makes them deeper. I believe it's #17 from the Fargo Flyers.
2)Crookston, wasn't deep but not a bad team until they lost #25 for the season. ouch!! that hurt them.
3)Warroad waaayyyyy down, Lost to Roseau 18-0.

Roseau gave themselves a easier (but not easy with the teams in this tournament) bracket to work thru, but heck most home tournament people do (with the excecption of Edina in their last tournament).watchdog wrote:i'll have to agree with that. were in a good spot.
Either way it would be a good one to watch with some very fast, skilled players with good coaches from quality associations.
Heck it would be fun to just watch the coaches having a chess game.
Does the fact that Wayzata beat Roseau in the Fargo Squirt championship 2 years ago have anything to do with Wayzata getting the hardest draw in the first round?
Then if they happen to win, getting the "best-ranked" team in state for the 2nd round (Elk River)?
If Wayzata is able to get to Championship Sunday, they will have had a great weekend. They have a lot of obstacles...
Best of luck to all the teams and KEEP WARM - the temperature will be dropping, dropping, drop....
