Baskin (sp?) from Minnetonka Bantam A was above and beyond everyone on the ice. I am confident he will play third line this year at the high school level.

Not sure though.
I know that one of their players is back in the assoc. after playing in Green and White last year. (ugh)
D6....So, the player was with Minnetonka and left for 1 year and now back again? What was the players situation? Did they move?

Bantam A:

Edina-3
WBL-3

Not sure if this was a tryout situation for either team, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't.

We can all speculate on why. But I don't think they moved twice.
But last year the team he was on won state.
This year Tonka will be better than Edina. (oops I said the team)
You can formulate your own opinion. I have mine.

Bantam A scores from last weekend:

Eagan 4
Blaine 3

Forest Lake 5
Johnson 2

Coon Rapids 4
Armstrong 1

I hadn't seen any of these posted yet.

The Hall of Fame tourney this weekend will be interesting - I hope to catch a few of those games.

I believe this was a controlled scrimmage. No refs, no scoreboard and very little hitting. Just running 5 on 5, PP and PK against each other.

Cent Preview and Moorhead

Post by jancze5 »

One glaring team issue at the CENT PREVIEW is Moorhead showing up with their tryout squad and 20+ players and 3 goalies. Why would you drive all the way down from Moorhead for kids to sit in the bleachers and watch games? Someone help, because I'm confused.

Moorhead won't play 3 better teams than Wayzata-Edina-SSM all season and to come down and lose 12-1, 4-0, 6-0 for your tryout, is it worth it? I'm sure Wayzata was happy to drive over to Circle Pines to play your B players.
