Como at 13? They have been wavering about even HAVING an A Bantam this year!!! And you have them ranked higher than Edina, Woodbury and EP??? You're kidding, right???

Sorry...meant North St. Paul..yes Edina is not that good this year. Above average and thus they deserve to be in the top 15. Eden Praire is on a down year this year too.

No Politics?

Isn't there already a thread for A Bantam rankings?
Hard to rank teams until the HS tryouts are over. Some teams will loose some of thier best kids.
Anyway , a few comments-

Stillwater- their best player went to HS.
Apple Valley- will not be top 20 with the kids they are loosing to HS
Edina- will be better than you think. The HS will not take any kids.
Tartan- Could also be solid if all the kids stay.
Rochester- Should be very good again if all the kids stay
Blaine- Lost top goalie to HS
Rogers- Heard their top skater decided to stay, should help them a ton.

I am sure there are alot more that I am not aware of. Let's wait until all of the teams have the roster set and see how they shake out.

Stillwater just got beat by 4 goals to lakeville south.

Hibbing ? did they merge with Grand Rapids.
Apple Valley going to lose players to H.S
I'am not saying Stillwater shouldn't be ranked I just think Lakeville S is better.

Rogers, I thought would be a sleeper. Good job on scouting teams

If they beat em by 4 it isnt really what you think... it is reality.

According to the Roseville coach it was Roseville 5 Chaska 1. I will try and keep it updated every week. I have no skin in the game so I will try and stay objective. Lakeville South may end up being being better we will have to see.

No politics, thats a good one.
Ask him why Stillwater is ranked 7th here and not mentioned anywhere else. I have seen them and they are not a top ten team. Very suspect at the blueline.

CNF rankings are more accurate and there are reasons given for the rankings.
I still say let them get going before people start getting to worked up.

I got it wrong, I can admit it....I did get one thing right, someone got handled. Do a couple hundred games in a year, they start to blend together. Again, sorry for the bad report...

Easy watchdog, you're only upset because Roseau's not in there.

Time will tell, and your boy will have a great year!

Well, if you put Hibbing at 14 and ahead of Edina; one would think Roseau needs to be in ther somewhere.

Thanks for jumping in tomASS, this was the type of reply we would expect from you. I wish that I could confirm your comment, unfortanetly, it wasn't the hot hockey moms that distracted me. Some sun tanned dude kept chanting from the top of the bleachers....Send In Budish...clap...clap...clap-clap-clap. The clown ended up getting escorted out of the building...

im not sure were roseau stacks up to be honest but what i do know is GR wont be that good. we played them two years ago (which would be this team) at regions they didnt look any better than roseau and roseau wasnt that good sooooooooo???? unless some top guns have moved to town or huge improvements have been made gr is not a top 3 team. as for roseau i watched the third practice of the season today and it looked like a complete cluster #%&* but some kids have drastically improved from 2nd year peewee that will make a much bigger impact this season than they did than. Also erickson moved back home has to be one of the top bantams in the state plus a new family with oh a really good bantam player.. little bonus

I been away a long time but, it seems to me that Bemidji was in the Final 8 two years ago (basically same team) That was not by accident. I know they lost Erickson but got a replacement who is almost as good. Bigger for certain.

Keep them out of the polls though. It will be nicer to surprise a few people.

Hey watchdog, how is it going up dere? Hope all is well. Kind of nice that us northern teams get no respect from the people who claim to create polls without political influence. Nice that they put GR in to make them feel good about there poll and not to discriminate:)
