U19 Girls Hockey during the HS Season

Post by joehockey »

Does anyone know which associations run U19 programs for girls who are not involved in HS hockey - I think Edina and maybe Maple Grove had teams last year - who else in the metro area?

Edina has 2 U19 teams. Per last year, the other local teams were Osseo/Maple Grove, Centennial, Cottage Grove and Eden Prairie. Last year there was some talk that WBL and Wayzata were trying to put together teams but they weren't successful. I don't know if they were going to try again this year.

Do you think EP will still have a team now that girls can actually try out for the HS team? Ha Ha
