Decaro got a bench minor for Abuse Of Officials? Funny. Central may not win many games this year but you'll know they're on the ice with ya. The officials sure will. Image

After watching the events progress throughout the game it seems that both teams were frustrated because neither one of them could find a good grove throughout the game. Both teams seemed sloppy and slow, but this could be due to it being the first game for both teams. As for Papenfuss getting the game misconduct for fighting, he went into the pile to protect two of his teammates who were pinned on the ice and getting beat up by swarms of Duluth players. One Duluth player had even dropped his gloves and taken off his helmet. Most of the Winona players seemed to do a good job at leaving the scene and getting off to the bench.

Who is this joe bianchet kid? Three penalties in the third period? Sounds like a goon.
I went to a fight, and a hockey game broke out.

A little bit of both. Not a ton of hitting, basically situational rub outs. But there were a few big hits from some of the smaller guys. Some pretty bad reffing. A lot of calls that there shouldn't have been from both sides. Seemed to me like the refs were out of position on a lot of calls.

On another note, I'm new to this so how do you reply to posts, like where the background is white on what someone else said?

Click on where it says "Quote" as I just did, and it'll insert the post you're replying to. Make sure that "Disable BBCode in this post" is unchecked before clicking "Submit"

As far as BBCode goes, it's checked or unchecked by default depending on how you have it set up in your Profile. If you click on Profile (near the top of the page), it brings up a bunch of things you can set up on your account. In the Preferences section, you should see an option for "Always allow BBCode". If you have this set to "yes", then the quote button will always work as you see it work on this post. Some people don't have this enabled and it makes their replies come out looking funky.
