Woodbury over Tartan 8-2 (Nov. 29th)

Post by wbmd »

Junior Connor Delaney with 1 goal and 3 assists and senior Tony Pittman with 4 assists for the Royals who improved to 2-0. Junior Michael Ness stopped 22 shots for the win in goal. (Woodbury has just 4 seniors on the team)

And the same could be said for White Bear having only played Rochester Century.

It will still be a battle in a few weeks when the Royals and Bears meet at Aldrich.

Yeah Tartan is absolutely awful, but I atill thought Woodbury was pretty impressive. The fact that they won 8-2 didn't come as a surprise, but the physicality that Woodbury played with did. Specifically, I noticed Colin Keefe, Cole Volkers (only a sophomore, too), and Max Gaede knocking some kids around out on the ice. If they can keep that type of play up, they will beat WBL.
Everyone hates private schools (and Edina)!!
