Andover (20AA) 3 vs. Centennial (8AA) 6
Cloquet/Esko/Carlton (17AA) 2 vs. Grand Rapids/Greenway (7AA) 5

I'll take a shot at Tuesday games:
Andover over Centennial 4-1
GRG over CEC MNHockeyFan has it right 5-2
BSM over Wayzata but barely 3-2
Duluth over Hibbing big win 6-1
Stillwater over Edina another big win 7-2
Hopkins over Sibley 6-0 if this is the right game? StarTrib also has Blake at Sibley same night? Doesn't matter the score would be about the same.
Maybe one of the teams is at Simley on Tuesday? or on another date?
I think there are some tough games to pick but I will give it my best.

I've deleted this game from the original post.

Perhaps it's a bit early to write either of these off as being "tier II type teams"? Just for comparision's sake it would have been interesting if the Hopkins/Sibley game hadn't gotten cancelled, as Wayzata already beat them 8-1.

BSM - Dave "The Rat" Herbst is a great coach....BSM maybe had one of the best weekends of anyone last weekend he will continue to develop the skill and get all he can out of the team. I think they are a top 10 team that may surprise as the season goes on - they have 4 very good D and when Press is on she is one of the best goalies in the state. Jordyn Burns is a tremendous player who can win games on her talent. They are a team to continue to keep in the pool.

I for sure am not writing these teams off, I only mean that they are tier II teams right now (only my opinion) and could/should improve as the season moves along. Like Chris Berman from ESPN says "that's why they play the games". Both teams lost some major talent (especially scoring) and will have to adjust, but either is capable of a year-end surprise. Thanks for the deletion of the Hopkins game, and I should throw in another prediction: Blake 6-0 over Sibley (not original, but accurate).
The first set of "big games" on Tuesday were amazingly close, showing that there is great balance amongst the ranked teams this year. Scores have been updated in the original post.
Duluth (16AA) 2 Cloquet/Esko/Carlton (17AA) 2, think it could be a tie
Minnetonka (6AA) 3, Eden Prairie (19AA) 1
Crookston (5A) 4, Warroad (3A) 2
Roseville (2AA) 6, White Bear Lake (9AA) 2
Hopkins (3AA) 6, Totino-Grace (13A) 1
Thursday, December 4
Cloquet/Esko/Carlton (17AA) 2 vs. Duluth (16AA) 3 Minnetonka (6AA) 4 vs. Eden Prairie (19AA) 1
Crookston (5A) 2 vs. Warroad (3A) 5 Roseville (2AA) 4 vs. White Bear Lake (9AA) 2
Totino-Grace (13A) 0 vs. Hopkins (3AA) 7
Friday, December 5 Roseau (1A) 5 vs. Edina (1AA) 2
Benilde-St. Margaret's (12AA) 1 vs. GRG (7AA) 4
Warroad (3A) 2 vs. Hill-Murray (5AA) 3
Saturday, December 6 Blaine (13AA) 4 vs. Andover (20AA) 1 Warroad (3A) 3 vs. Edina (1AA) 2 Roseau (1A) 4 vs. Hill-Murray (5AA) 3
Centennial (8AA) 2 vs. Minnetonka (6AA) 5
Will there be some surprises...............we shall see.
My predictions:
CEC 3-1 over Duluth (close game w/EN)
Minnetonka 6-1 over EP (how the mighty have fallen)
Warroad 4-1 over Crookston
Roseville 4-1 over WBL (Roseville is properly ranked)
Hopkins 10-0 over T-G (I know...........Homer)
Man you guys love seeing us getting the SMACKdown...I can't wait for some revenge. It might not happen this year, but I will be waiting in the shadows!

JoetheHopkinsRube, if Roseville is properly ranked then White Bear should get more loven…cause they gave Roseville everything they wanted and more…Bold Opinion; Bears stay out of the box and they win. Are they top five…no… but close, and should never have taken a two spot drop in the polls after winning four straight before yesterdays contest with the Raiders.

1) Agreed that Joe is a rube;
2) Agreed WBL could be ranked higher;
3) Disagree with the 'if we could stay out of the box we'd win' premise. There are reasons teams take too many penalties--always getting beat to the puck or to the net, etc., is a leading factor. (Saw that in the Roseville-Hopkins game, Hopkins fans understood because it was obvious how much quicker Roseville was). Anyway, whether it's lack of quickness or lack of restraint or lack of coaching/smarts/whatever that causes high numbers of penalties, it's not that easy to turn it off and on. How many times do you see a team just all of sudden greatly reduce their penalty minutes and turn their season around? There's usually an underlying reason for lots of time in the box that isn't easily cured and that reveals a bigger problem.
Re: Thursday's games, they were all one goal (great) games other than the mismatch that JoeTheHopkinsDad had me add - should have stuck with my better judgement!
Friday's picks:
Roseau (1A) 2, Edina (1AA) 2 Tie
Benilde-St. Margaret's (12AA) 2, Grand Rapids/Greenway (7AA) 1 (upset!)
Warroad (3A) 1, Hill-Murray (5AA) 4
