What website are coaches using for stats this year

Post by Lowerchesterdchs »

I know they were acustomed to Star Tribune, but now are they going with Point Streak or Max Preps or some other site I don't know about?

Thanks

Pointstreak it is

It's all Pointstreak this year, as they have an agreement with the coaches association. Minnesota Hockey Hub is just using the Pointstreak information through the same agreement.

It's kind of putzy to get to it. Here's a link to the Minnesota boys' page

http://pointstreak.com/prostats/scorebo ... agueid=538

It has potential. A dozen or so of last night's games were listed. It needs more people dedicated to the effort.

From what I've heard it is required for the teams to put the scores into PS.

The MN Hockey Hub just extracts the stats from Pointstreak. It makes it easier to find the team you want and the scores you want. Lee is correct in that going directly to the Pointstreak website is putzy. Nice word.

If you head here:

http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/page/show/32760-home

And then go to conferences and find the team you want, it becomes much smoother. Or, less-putzy.

Last I heard there was at least 125 teams taking part in pointstreak. It would be great if all would take part.

I like the bar on top of the mnhockeyhub website that has info on that day's games. Especially when it has real time scoring (courtesy of pointstreak of course).

I don't think the coaches are "required" to use the system, but they are strongly encouraged and most of them are. The only "requirement" is that most sections require game results be put on the MSHSL web site come seeding time.
