Bensomum, I agree with your general assessment regarding penalties, don’t know if you were at the game, but IMO White bear was equal (at the very least) to the play. Thought they controlled the flow more and had the greater scoring chances. I only referenced the penalties because WBL has had way too many preventable penalties this year (retaliatory and being undisciplined, type). More specifically with the one that preceded the game winning power play goal last night.

My predictions for tonight's games:
Roseau 4-1 over Edina (not a close game, top 4 teams in Class A are very solid)
GRG 3-1 over BSM
Hill-Murray 2-1 over Warroad in OT (very close game)

Wow, now add name calling to the mix. Hopkins must be doing something right to wear this big of a target. The WBL team surprised me that they could stay with Roseville (WBL swaps places with Edina in my rankings, if they can consistently play this way). I'll put my predictions against Benson and Heaven all day long and we'll see who is the "rube" (of course, I wouldn't call you that since this is supposed to be an informational and fun forum).

Saw Duluth play CEC last night. Duluth won 3-2 What a team.

They dominated play in all 3 zones. Duluth Outshot CEC 42-11. They are a well coached, deep, solid team.

Harvard-bound goalie Laura Bellamy looked a bit off but played well enough to win.

They will be a team to watch come Feb.

Superstar, maybe the "mighty" have not fallen as far as some haters had hoped.... How did your team stay with the "Powerful Skippers"?

Nuetralgroup - Tonka does have a strong team - I think part of the reason was our outstanding goaltending and staying out of the penalty box....I thought we outplayed them in the first period. Our 1st line can play against anyone. YES, I mean ANYONE.

MNHCKlr - It was a great game - But you gave away my secret website!

Ontheedge - After I re-read my post - Your right, it is an oxymoron..It would be nice to stop losing some of our Top players in alot of our sports to private schools - Esp. Boys and Girls Hockey..
