I'm pretty sure that was Widing, they made it because he has a gigantic head.komada77 wrote:Sounds like a whole lot of excuses to me. I've been in the HM student section recently, as in last year and the year before, and its pathetic. The only creative thing I've seen out of them was the giant picture of Ryan Furne at sections last year.sachishi4 wrote:hill has far more than 20 fans at games. maybe you should go to more to find out. Maybe people dont appreciate the fact that with a smaller school in HM and the huge amount of activities we had with school and outside of school not everyone can go. Almost everyone at HM had a co curricular at night, whether it was a sport or not. Sorry we were more involved than you in high school but you should get off your high horse. And dont try to argue these facts with me, considering I went there and know what it is like maybe you shouldnt make up lies about hill fans sucking. We know hockey, and we love our hockey.specialblend wrote: So what your saying is that the fans at Moorhead games are similar to those at Hill's in the sense that only 15-20, if that, go?

30 kids? Whoa. That's at least three times as big as the average HM student section.SiouxYAYA wrote:WBL hands down...I can remember in the 04-05 season they came to Grand Forks to play Red River and they had around 30 kids there not counting there JV team...thats like a 4 and half hour drive for a regular season game against an ND team, I can't imagine the atmosphere of a home game vs HM

I've moved on from my days of high school student sections, but from what I've seen over the last four years of traveling around the metro plenty and seeing a lot of the lake conference, Jefferson and Burnsville have crazy good fans while Edina and Eden Prairie are both jokes. They get numbers, but suck as fans. That is all

WBL had a far larger and active student section than South did at tonight's game. I was impressed, even with the 4 hour drive. They didn't have much to cheer about though.SiouxYAYA wrote:WBL hands down...I can remember in the 04-05 season they came to Grand Forks to play Red River and they had around 30 kids there not counting there JV team...thats like a 4 and half hour drive for a regular season game against an ND team, I can't imagine the atmosphere of a home game vs HM

Ok, Hill's favorite cheer to WBL's fans each year: "Season's Over".TheNightman wrote:Pioneerprideguy wrote:And how did all that support work out for them?HockeyHigh wrote: WBL had a far larger and active student section than South did at tonight's game. Hills non existence of fans reminds me of the saying:
"If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?".
If Hill wins a game and no one is around to see it, ............................
(fill in the blank)
btw PPG when you are focussing on your typing and sarcasm you need to focuss on that little red line thingy under your misspelled word and focuss on fixxing it
