I'm a little surprised to see no posting on this forum about Lindsey Dumass's injury, IMO BSM best all around player. At the Wayzata game Tuesday night she went into the boards hard and to my understanding broke her ankle. They immobilized her and took her away in ambulance. If this information is indeed true its a huge loss for BSM and an unfortunate accident for a excellent player. Best wishes for a speedy recovery and if someone has more information please update.

I was talking to someone from the team and I was told it wasn't broken but I don't know any more than that.

Hopkins 8-1 over Totino-Grace. Hopkins played good, it was 5-0 after one. Billadeau will not be happy with the one that went in (not at all a fluke, but maybe she just wasn't involved enough). Not sure what the shots were, but they were strong in Hopkins favor. Three defensemen scored for Hopkins which was nice to see for a change. TG has a couple smooth skaters but just not deep enough at this level. TG was pretty good at blocking shots, but this also led to a couple of screened goals.

Also, I just spoke with SuperStar and he said the Minnetonka/EP game was 2-1 after two in favor of Minnetonka. This is a closer game than I expected.

Mound-Westonka: 4
Orono: 2

Junior forward Taylor Kuehl with all 4 goals for Mound - she was on fire as usual.

SOG were hugely in favor of Mound...don't know the exact stat's though.

That's the way to earn a shut-out. Good job!

thanks! it's a big win for Tartan! We needed a boost, and this was it! people should really stop doubting Tartan, we're not the team we were a few years ago.

Minnetonka 2-1 over Eden Prairie.

This is a MUCH closer game than I predicted. This could have disasterous effects on my BOLD PREDICTION OF NO MORE THAN 10 WINS FOR EP. That's a couple of close games in a row for EP. What up SuperStar??

Kaitlyn Rolando is one of the best goalies in the state IMO - hard worker, great leader and one of the nicest kids around. Great to see her steal a goalie win for Tartan.

As with their other two loses against ranked teams (Hill, GR) 5 on 5 White Bear was again the better team. If they can learn to stay out of the box they will be a team to contend with.

Any update re Lindsey and her time out?

Nice to see Hill get a goal for WBL hard working player who always has a smile. I hear comments about penalties how many did WBL take last night compared to Roseville?

Unfortunately she needs surgery to repair a fractured tibia and will be out probably the whole year. There is a slight possibility she could be back for sections. Wish her well because in addition to being a great hockey player, she's a great kid -

Edina 2, Roseau 1

Edina is slowly getting better. They continue to struggle but a little less each time. Hopefully they will be playing their best hockey by the end of the year.

Warroad 6 Hill Murray 0

Warroad totally outplayed a flat HM team tonight.

Warroad is well coached, played very well and capitalized on every bounce - they were impressive in all areas and their goaltender made the saves she needed to. Sylvester a Sophomore #14 for Warroad is the best HS player I have seen - she has size speed, shot and great hands. She had impact on every shift - I am not sure there is any forward in the metro that compares she had 2 goals and 1 A.

Hill continues to fight injuries and were short a key Center and RW and a top D pair and just never generated any flow as they rolled line ups. Hill's other goalie started her first game this season played well but was replaced at 4-0 she made some big saves. HM also took to many penalties.

It will be interesting to see the Edina-Warroad and HM-Roseau match ups today.

Interesting. We'll have to see how they both come out tomorrow in big matches.

What does this mean for the rankings in Class A given Edina beat Roseau?

What impact, if any will/should it have in Class AA?
