Class of 2011 All-Star Team (Juniors/11th Graders Now)
Moderators: Mitch Hawker, east hockey, karl(east)
Couple reasons, coaches summer teams real comfy. And Marvin Window company giving 10,000 dollars a year to warroad hockey players going on to college. Young player leaving East Grand Forks past year for Warroad left for reason number two.

Re: Kuel girl
Warroad: 4 of the 7 games have been against ranked AA teams. I was very impressed with both of them when I watched the HM game. Sylevester is the best HS player I have seen this season (at least she was that night).Sharkman wrote:I have not seen her play. Is she the real deal or just a easy schedule.

Eden Parrie this year had to be one of the best offensive teams in the state even though they didn’t make it to the State Tourney. In a game with Lakeville South, as reported in the Star tribune, the 8th grade goalie from south made 62 saves on 65 shots. The puck almost never left Lakeville’s end and she made several incredible saves. She would have also have to be one of the top eighth grade potentials in the State.

What are you smokin? EP has not had a 65 shot game since Kennedy last year. Get your facts straight. In 2 games this year against lakeville South their goalie had 37 saves. Are you sure you were not talking about the JV game?I would like to know a few more specifics on how you rank EP as one of the most potent offensive teams in the state. You sound just like a typical EP person!

As Emily Litella would say "Never Mind!"

Looks like they had a young team with 5 Sophs Siebel from WB is very strong and logged a lot of time as did Nicholson - the Star Tribune and the MGHCA have last years team so can't find stats. It would appear they have no returning Varisty Goalie.MNhockeylover wrote:So heard cretin had a building year this year. any sophomores?

this true?
Yeah it is difficult to say but I watched one of their games this year and she was a strong and fast skater-rarely did she ever get knocked over
Also #8 looked pretty good
