Great tourny. Too bad everyone is going to travel so far to see Moorhead dominate at home

Duluth- Good hard physical team
Wayzata- Until someone beats them, can't bet against them
Grand Rapids- Blake way down this year
Stillwater- Haven't seen either play, but past experience says
Roseau- Haven't seen Roseau play, but Chaska struggles
Moorhead- Interesting game, thought theirs would be easier
Best game, EP- Sauk Rapids no A team and very good, too bad this is first round
Edina- Either Edina team could win this one, but if it is Green they will dominate.

Air Force 1- I think if you want EGF to win the Moorhead tournament, you should want them to lose the first game. They have no chance running the table in the Wild Bracket. I wouldn't be surprised if they won the the Red Wing bracket though.

You must have made someone at Moorhead mad! I couldn't believe Moorhead has to play WBL, I would have taken Blake, Mound, or Chaska personally. Well there are only a few bad teams so somebody has to play good games. Have you played Grand Forks, Roseau, Grand Rapids, or Moorhead. How good are each of them?

We've played the GF Raiders twice and beat them, and Roseau once and beat them. We have played Moorhead Orange twice and won but have not played the Moorhead Black team that is in this field, they are the MUCH better MHD team. We have not run into Grand Rapids yet.

How about Sauk Rapids? Have you played them? They seem to be a very good team. Are they solid top to bottom or do they have a top line?

Nope, haven't had the pleasure. Visited with the Thief River Falls coaches earlier this year after they had played Sauk Rapids, said they got blitzed, and maybe there were some hard feelings about the number of "A" level players they had on their "B" team since Sauk Rapids doesn't play "A" level.

I wonder where the Fargo Flyers are for this one, Grand Forks is the only North Dakota team in the field.

I don't think Mound Westonka is very good. I could be wrong, but looking at some of their losses I don't think they are good. Hopefully they prove me wrong.

Blake is K-12 and their team is very young I believe. Their top 9th graders play Varsity. Last years team, which won State, is almost, if not completely, all on the Varsity/JV team this year.

I would say as good as they were last year, they are pretty close to the exact opposite this year. Last year in districts they were either 1 or 2 with Wayzata and this year they only have a few wins over Hopkins and Armstrong in districts.

Teams in this tournament can prove they belong with the big boys if they play well. Teams this tournament could help include Grand Rapids, Stillwater, Roseau, Moorhead, and East Grand Forks. Teams that could take a fall or show they belong are Sauk Rapids, EP, Duluth, Wayzata and Edina.

This makes the tournament fun as SR and EP play early with winner meeting Edina or EGF. Wayzata and Duluth should meet after the first day. Grand Rapids or Stillwater should be in the Semifinals to face the winner of Duluth, Wayzata.

There should be quite a few good games.
