How will Totino-Grace do against Blake and Duluth-Marshall?
Totino plays two very good teams this week in Blake and Duluth-Marshall. How will they do without Paul Guzik and Bill Heck, two of their better forwards? Will Tyler Olson still play amazing? How will they do this season?

i hear that TG is in a tough hood, maybe he took notes fromp plaxico and started packing, and it accidentaly went off?Elvis wrote:Read in another post that one of these guys, Hecks, had a "hole in his arm"?![]()
What happened there? What happened to Guznik? Will they be pulling up some forwards from JV or just going with three lines? Who may come up?

Kept it real and played through it though eh? Should have been a penalty for packin during a game though. Keep it in the locker room kids.hockeyhair15 wrote:i hear that TG is in a tough hood, maybe he took notes fromp plaxico and started packing, and it accidentaly went off?Elvis wrote:Read in another post that one of these guys, Hecks, had a "hole in his arm"?![]()

predictions
blake
they win
5-1
deslile has 3 points
defense stays hot, nagel, hockert play stellar with 2 points each
second line and third line struggles
third line---6 penalties no production
tyler olson--palys good game but tg outshoots blake 27-16 w most shots coming from defense
duluth marshall--
they loose 4-2
deslile, parnell score both assited by nagel
second line plays much better with a goal and no points against
third line gets no producton and causes three scores from penalties!
olson cannot win this game for them as they getoutshot 45-19
defnese plays good again just the forwards are out matched on 2 and 3 line

Heck fell on his elbow and split it open down to the bone. Guzik broke his hand checking a kid during a scrimmage, but he would be out because of a suspension anyway. He was not packing, trust me. They will certainly not lose both. If they can stay away from stupid penalties, they have a legit shot at winning both games. Marshall will definatly be a very rough game, and if TG can keep their heads, they have a chance. Predictions: TG vs Blake-- 3-1 TG, goals scored by Parnell and Hult Delisle. TG vs Duluth-Marshall-- 1-0 TG goal by Eric Louiselle.

penalty? thats just a thinking outside the box way to cut down on breakaways and get the other team to turn the puck over moreElvis wrote:Kept it real and played through it though eh? 2-2 until tg scores with 17 seconds left and then they score with 4 seconds left and none on on empty nets either. Tg looked slow again and playing out of position. DeLisle looks slow and needs to start playing better. tg out played them in 1st again like they always do then tg takes dumb penaltys in teh second liek tehy do then bearly get by with the win in the third. Tg needs to start playing alot smarter! blake looked ok they could of been playing better and yes again Olson shut the door once again. blakes 2 goals where on the PP also.

what can they do? they won which is most important...but blake is not any good this year they looked very beatable and we almost lost this game. .... i think this has to be their year! what needs to change to get this team up to par..
goalie played stellar again and the defense throwing their body allover the place was fun to watch they are playing with real heart!!!!
the first line played good than esecially last minute but this game should not have been close.
what is going on w 2 and 3 lines they seem to be just playng defensive hockey. which is good sometimes but seems to b every game they get good shifts but no real scoring oppurtunites.I know they have some people who can shoot the puck but it doesnt seem like they are getting any good shots...maybe someone needs to stup up and start passing a little more i dont know just speculating????
In regards to my previous post they only had a couple stupid penalties but they were at a crucial time....
About deslile i have to disagree as they seemed to be shadowing him quite a bit he always seemed to have someone in his way everyone is going to have games like that when they are stars he will adept and adjust!!!

credit for looseing??? lol and ur memory is wrong tg did not loose their first 6 games....its ok blake is the laughing stock of private schools right nowbubblehockey27 wrote:Doesn't matter if Blake hasn't won a game yet....if my memory serves me right, TG started out 0-6 last year, and managed to put a decent squad together towards the end of the year. Thanks for the back up on that one. I didn't think I was that rusty. My point eagles, is that the team you are in the beginning of the year is indicative of the team you could be later on down the road. Blake has been to state for the past 3 years, and may be down this year, but they are still a good hockey team.

The Bears will get better as the season goes.
Totino will have thier hands full with the Toppers, especially if they can't stay out of the box.

Way of flat! their defense may not look as big and intimatding as some other teams duluth has played but they are not slow!!! with them and their goalie keeping them in every game.....if anything is suspect its their offense after line1....i did predict dmarshall to win
TG played pretty bad against blake, blake is not that good of a team this year, regardless of their record. TG will really need to step it up if they wanna beat Marshall. Things TG needs to do to beat Marshall:
1) Come out flying and get a goal or two early
2) Keep up the intensity the whole game
3) dont take dumb penalties and dont let Marshall get into their heads
4) Play fast, hard, and move the puck
5) Play physicall, but once again, dont take dumb penalties.

ok have to change my prediction as eagles 2nd and 3 line players are not living up to expectations....one goal from offense in games from a 2nd line player but was when he was on the ice the first line......this is very concerning for a team that is supposed to be ranked. they will not be able to beat good teams like this. they seem to like to play players that are slow on offense and cannot create offense! why?
the defense, goalie, and 1st line cannot cary this team all year with expectations of being a contending squad.
good luck eagles but here it is
duluth marshall 7
eagles-1

i heard he was not sure? he will help a lil but again he was a first line player!!!!this squad needs a bit of an overhaul to compete with those teams do they have anybody they can move up or anything they have in the works that can help be more of offensive threat to get some production from other lines?Elvis wrote:Wasn't Heck wearing elbow pads, need some new ones, or did he fall elsewhere?
