East losing one of their returning forwards to injury this year has set them back some. They moved one of their best players from D to forward. This did give them a good boost in scoring, but weakened their overall D. They are breaking in a new goalie at the same time they are trying to fill a key defenseman's spot. It may take them longer than expected to find the right combination. Despite that I think they'll give JM a close game. JM doesn't have nearly the scoring punch that Mayo has.
I just read in the paper that he scored again in their last game. The kid must be horrible to keep putting pucks in the net I'm not saying he is All-State but he is doing fairly good for a sophomore.
