Did you see the game? From what I heard, Hutch never had a chance- Hard to believe they beat HA 3-1.
A good example why comparing past results and scores doesn't necessarily help in predicting who will win:

11/20 - Hutchinson beats Holy Angels 3-1
12/02 - Holy Angels beats Shakopee 3-0
12/09 - Shakopee beats Hutchinson 8-2

Holy Angels got off to a rough start, losing 3 out of their first 4, but since then they've won 4 in a row, beating Elk River, Shakopee, Prior Lake and Farmington.

good call- the shots in the Shako/HA game were even 32-32. HA worked Shako over in the 2nd 16-4. I think they are 2 pretty even teams. I kind of like the Sabers as a sleeper team. Get those 8th graders a bit more experience and who knows what will happen. They already have over 20 points between the 2 of them.

White Bear lake 4 Blaine 3. Great game! Blaine came out flying in each of the 3 periods. Built 3-0 lead. WBL fought back scoring 2 goals late in both 2nd and 3rd period. Blaine owned the first half of each period, WBL the second half.

Rochester Mayo 5 - Mankato West 4

Mayo played well for the 1st two Periods, outshooting MW 24-8, and built a 3-1 lead. Hats off to MW, Ksavnicki & Black are two very good players, and they mounted a comeback, but Mayo held them off, never losing the lead.

As always, we need some more snipers in Rochester... applications welcome :D

EP 3-2 overtime over shako- shako didn't seem to skate hard the 1st 2 periods- finally started to work in the 3rd and came back to tie it late in the 3rd-

#6AA GRG 4 #4AA Hill Murray 3 OT

Great game 1-1 after 1, 3-1 GRG after 2. GRG scored 2 PP goals and a fluke SH goal HM D deflected in. On final goal they walked HM D back and scored 18 seconds into overtime with a blast past McKeever to win. Shots were 24 for GRG and 29 for HM.

EP played hard all 3 periods. It was a great game. 2 disallowed EP goals would have helped avoid the OT all together - but that's hockey!

Good point but if we want to go there EP's 2nd goal was REALLY REALLY soft and that little 26 put one off the crossbar with a lot of open net. But like you said that is hockey-

Now Now NSG - everyone knows that even a SOFT goal as you put it will ALWAYS beat a pipe. EP out hustled, out shot and out scored Shako and so they won. Now I will let this board get back to reporting scores. (I just couldn't leave that last comment hanging out there...)

If I am not mistaken I think it goes down as a tie being it was 2-2 at the end of 3? Something about MSHSL rules.
But then again I might be wrong and if so please correct me.
