joey benik is not any better than any other decent high school player. I had to see what all this hype was about to i took a trip to watch st francis play mpls over the weekend. Sure he had a pair of goals, but most of the game he was sitting on the blue line looking for a home run pass and a break away. Barely helped his team break the puck out, not very fast. And hey matt jones from mpls scored two goals in that game as well. I just dont see what all the hype is about???

Yeah but does anyone remember that sam blaisdel kid last year for minnehaha? he put up impressive numbers but when we played them....yeah... i would have to say 12 of our players were better than him...so i guess it really depends on who this kid is putting the numbers up against

ya. I dont be him doing much past high school. He pretty much just cherry picks at the blue line looking for a brekaway pass. And sam blaisdell is playing AAA for the madison caps cuz he thinks a d1 school is going to sign him later in the season.
