Minnetonka @ Mound-Westonka / 7:00pm 12-18-2008

Post by Reidy09 »

Well, yea..lol.

#14 AA Minnetonka visits #25 A Mound-Westonka at Mound's Thaler Ice Arena.

Should be a nice atmosphere - as of course I'm rooting for the home team. Good luck to the Whitehawks as this one will be a tough one...

My guess would be:
Minnetonka 6
Mound-Westonka 1
Basketball, a great game for guys who cant play Hockey

I think its possible but not probable that it could be close, if Mounds defense can play there "A" game and they do have some quick forwards that can bury the puck, #11 Colin Mayer is one of them, he has a great breakaway move if he gets the chance, Minnetonka cant look past them.]

I'm hoping we see the Minnetonka team that showed up to play Duluth East. 0-10 on the PP would be nice...lol.

Duluth East's defense doesn't need 5 guys on the ice. If the team that played East shows up tonight they will shut out Mound and put up double digits.

Mound would have been better off playing 5-4 hockey. Minnetonka had 5 PP opportunities and didn't capitalize on a single one.

Nevertheless, Mound lost 7-1. Physical game by both teams. Minnetonka just is a better team.

Minnetonka at Mound Westonka

Post by bghockey »

Well played game by Minnetonka until after the final buzzer when #6 of Minnetonka ( Tommy Lundquist ) took a cheap shot at Mound Westonka's best player Riley Horgen. A classless play that took away the smiles of many of the fans of Minnetonka. Hopefully, his coach will handle the matter in the proper way.
