HShockeywatcher wrote:pacman, that's what they were doing the whole game when they played St Thomas. I didn't mention any of it as I would just be called a sore loser, but it's nice to see someone else notice.

There was one time during the 2nd period that a St Thomas player had tripped and was laying on the ice being punched over and over in the face. No whistle. Finally managed to get to his feet. Got punch 2 or 3 more times. No whistle. Then another punch as the Marshall guy started to skate away. St Thomas guy threw a punch back finally and the whistle blew.

There were many like this. Very cheap team in my opinion. They got a lead then simply resorted to throwing cheap shots all the time. Can't blame them though, if the whistles weren't being blown, why stop?
27 from Marshall is a goon. The kid scored to make it 6-2 and made a fool out of himself screaming and hollering, then throws a punch from the bench. I also noticed during the STA game how dirty Marshall is. Glad it caught up to them with some ref's that weren't afraid to blow the whistle and now they have two players who have to sit out next game.

South St. Paul played very well, Wilcox played as he usually does, Palmquist got his first of the season and they were on the PP for most of the game. I wasn't impressed with Ben Marshall though, he threw alot of cheap shots towards the end of the game and was yelling at the refs and his team.

For being as good as he is, Ben Marshall seems to be one of the cheapest kids i've seen. Also, the Stillwater Woodbury game should not have been a 4-0 game, Stillwater took too many stupid penalties, and the refs were not great either. But the bottom line is Stillwater needs to get the offense going.

Red Wing defeats Rochester Mayo 4-2

Red Wing dominated the whole game, Mayo was so frustrated they were yelling at each other and commiting stupid penalties.

Red Wing has Totino-Grace at home on Saturday; should be a good game.

Marshall is a spolied little brat who thinks he's the gift to hockey. Good...but not great. What should the Woodbury/Stillwater score have been? S'water had zero offense and got a LOT of help from their refs.

hahaha wow a lil resentment toward a 10th grader homeboy. what did the kid EVER do to you? haha spoiled little brat huh? do you know him personally? Cuz this obviously is a jealous grudge toward a kid who worked his ass off for everything he got. Just cuz you have to live vicariously through nhl09 dont mean you gotta hate on true talent.
