Bold Predictions for 2008-09

Post by Joethehockeydad »

This thread is meant for fun. Comments should be taken lightly and produce a chuckle. Feel free to fire back with your own bold predictions. It would be great if these predictions induce much debate.

I'll start it off with two bold predictions:

1) EDINA will NOT win more than 10 games this year. (you gotta admit this is bold since they are currently in the #1 spot).

2) EDEN PRAIRIE also will NOT win more than 10 games this year. (also very bold considering their record over the past few years).[/b]

This prediction isn't really very bold, but Edina will SWEEP Hopkins in their two games this year and go on to win the Classic Lake!

I predict that BSM will again blow out Hopkins in the Sectional Championship. You got to admit this is bold considering how Hopkins walks on water per JoetheHockeyDad.

C'mon.........Hopkins doesn't walk on water.......they skate on it. Oh, and this is a new year and Hopkins will worry about BSM when/if BSM can get past Wayzata.

Hopkins seems to be the best team in AA, and IMO have been underrated the past 2 years. With the talent they have had they have seemed to play up to their potential in the section tournament, will they be able to get over the hump this year?????

OK then, maybe a split?

I see where the shots were pretty even at 26-24 Edina, but Billadeau managed to shut Edina down!

Our goalie did play a good game and shots were close. We took very few penalties compared to most games, something the coach has stressed lately and especially now when Hopkins is missing their key penalty killer. It was a close game, especially first two periods, then Kortum took some control and put in a quick one very early in third.
