Stats Program Hockey Hub

Post by pucknutz »

A comment. This year it seems that HS Hockey is keeping a more official statistic listing on the internet via hockey hub (pointstreak) this year. Its a great idea...but shouldn't there be some more accuracy than the refs and scorekeepers give it. At games refs give assists to kids who arent even on the ice. Scorekeepers never have an accurate depiction of shots on goal. Without an effort on their part...the stats are worthless. If the stats are important enough to keep...then they're important enough to keep accurately. Just a comment.

Seems to me you want NHL-style stats.

Then you'd be happy to pony up to train refs like those in the NHL get as well as the scorekeepers. Oh and don't forget about paying the scorekeepers.

Until then, don't complain. Be happy there is one central website for all the points, there hasn't been one before.

point well taken...like I said though its not that tough to keep a shot count. You don't have to be NHL quality...just need to watch and the ability to count.
