So after their bantam A's went B2B, like 10-12 sophomores play on the varsity on any given night, I think it was 10 against Edina. They definitly look good, do you think they could go B2B their junior and senior years if everyone sticks around? Will they make it to state this year?

10? There were only 5 that saw ice against Edina, 3 Forwards, two D

I think it is a long shot with Mr. Smith at the helm. Great group of kids but he will get out coached at some point along the line.

I don't think you have the right guy. What team started the season as the clear cut #1 ranked team in the state for the last three (3) years, and yet has squaduche to show for it? Anyone........Anyone.........Your right, it's the Wasps! Maybe Giles finds a way to "not" get it done also. By the way, the clock is ticking on the super squad who are now seniors.

In 2007 Edina reached the state tournament and went 2-1, winning the Consolation trophy.

In 2008 Edina reached the state tournament and went 2-1, losing in the final.

It says a lot about a community and the strength of their hockey program that this is 'squaduche'. Most of the state would throw parades for such failures.

Edina looks fine this year, no?
Be kind. Rewind.

This class of super seniors had visions of winning 3 state championships. If they fail to win one...................?
