Wow. What started out as a great game, turned ugly real fast. The officials let way too much stuff go and things got extremely chippy. Things even turned ugly in the stands, as one parent from each team was hauled away by cops. It reflects poorly upon both communities. The refs did not have control of this game at all and it showed at the end when Mayo began to pull away. Final score ended up 9-4. #18 for Mayo, listed as a captain, cheap shotted someone with 25 seconds left in the game, which was not needed at all. The refs let way too many things go, both sides equally.
To comment on the game, Mayo was a much faster team, and it showed especially when they were on the PK, as they scored four short handed goals. Alexander has an absolute snipe, and I thought he was the best player on the ice. Mayo was not as good as I was expecting, and have a lot of work to do if they want to contend for the section title. I thought they were very sloppy at times. Farmington needs to play hockey and quit worrying about getting the big hit. They have A LOT of work to do.. even though they have no shot at the section.

Yeah that was an incredibly fascinating game to watch... I mean not the game... but everything around it.
I really don't understand how Farmington allowed the game to get so out of hand. Up until the third period, that was a relatively even matchup.
Mayo didn't do a very good job at making themselves look like a class act. #18's penalty was one of the worst displays of sportsmanship I've seen (Along with a number of other Farmington players.)
Both goalies were weak, but especially for Farmington. He allowed alot of goals from outside the triangle.
The better team won, however like what was said earlier. Both these teams need alot of work. That was some weak hockey tonight.
