Eden Prairie V. Totino-Grace in scrim. today

Post by TheSniper09 »

Saw this game early in the AM at Eden Prairie and it was a fast and good game. first 35 mins they just played 5 on 5 and TG was up 2-1. Then the second half was special teams for half of it and then 5 on 5 for the rest. I think the final score was either 4-3 TG or tied 4-4. EP is a very good team in class aa and is ranked high in every poll. They are 7-1. Tg played very good today. Did TG prove themselves today by playing with a very good class aa team?

I'm not one to think scrimmages really mean a lot but TG did this without their starting goalie and one of there top defensemen. It could mean something but it could also be a fluke only time will tell. Also Eden PraIries mitch rogge was hurt a few minutes into it and never returned any one know what happen?

Yea i'm not sure what a scrimmage tells you. The intensity isn't the same but as a former player it's not like you don't play hard in those scrimmages or anything. Its still practice and you still work hard but if anything TG can take it as a motivator and EP can worry about more important things such as the upcoming game vs Jefferson

TG played well, and scrimmages dont mean much, but they mean something. It was a good showing by TG, but they have to prove themselvs vs. a good team in an actual game.
