I was at the game and I would say that the Falls were the best team Hermantown has seen this year so far (at least at home). Falls were 4 defenseman deep and really solid two lines with a nice goalie. They are not as deep as Herm(3 plus deep for Herm.and six D) but are well coached and definetely bring intensity with the size of their players. Hermantown did have an edge in play in the offensive zone. The only bummer about the game was the Refs. became too involved on both sides and inconsistent where I think they did not need to be. Also in the overtime Falls got away with a couple of penalties as the Refs put the whistles in the pocket. A great game and win for Falls. Next up for Herm. is Grand Rapids.

I Falls is now 9-1-1 since the return of two top players from suspension. They might be a team to watch come sections.

So the Falls only played two lines and still had enough energy to beat the pre-undefeated Hawks?

And what about those Falls fans? They out numbered the home fans and were really pumping up their boys! You couldn't even hear the announcer when he announced who scored the game winning goal!

And also, I think that Hermantown got away with a couple of penalties in the third though too!

Yeah, they were HOMERS! In all seriousness though, they were horribly inconsistent. But that just made the Falls boys want it that much more.
