Well Jefferson is definitely is much better than Burnsville but they cant be overlooking too many teams in the Lake. On Tuesday Jefferson only beat LN by one (and one of Jeffs. goals was questionable). Then you look at Burnsville putting 9 up vs Rosemount.

I look for the LN game to be kind of a wake up for Jefferson who looked flat and they come out and dominate.

Its not a show down. Its a gun fight where only one team has a gun.

Jags will get back on track with a win. Burnsville's goalie was not so hot the night two nights I saw him play. Too much offense from Jefferson. Burnsville will get there chances but will fall I'll go with 6-1 or 6-2.

Burnsville will put up a good scrap but the Jags will come out flying because of the lakeville game.

Jags are going to come out fired up and still looking for revenge from last year.

4-3 Jefferson, I don't think it will be a shut out for the Jags, Burnsville's first line has too much fire power.

The Jags better not be getting to comfortable with that #1 ranking and undefeated record because im assuming that burnsville would want nothing more than to put a damper on the Jags season Saturday. With that said though.....if the Jags play their game they will win no question.

Burnsville top line is good but Jefferson matches up well versus them. After b'villes top line they have nobody else to really match up with the Jags depth and i expect the D to be solid as well

Jefferson 7
B'ville 1

Game was dominated by the Jags, just didnt seem like B'ville showed up for this one but the Jags definitely were back on their game after a close one earlier in the week

Thought Burnsville would put up a better fight at home. It sounds like the jags really took advantage of the pp.

Yeah I believe they had 4 power play goals. Burnsville was in the box quite a bit for alot of dumb penalties. May threw some pretty dirty cheap shots out there and king got a triple minor, the first one I have ever seen. O'Connor made an unbelievable save to rob the Blaze, but other than that it was all Jags in this one.

The powerplays were the main difference in the game. Jefferson was 5 for 7 and Burnsville was 1 for 6 on the powerplay. Burnsville looked like they got a goal at the end of the first period but the ref didn't see it. That would have allowed them to go out of the 1st down by only 2 - 1. Burnsville also gave up a goal during one of their powerplays which always hurts. There was only one goal in the game that was even strength. Jefferson has a good team and they will be tough to beat unless you can stay out of the box.

I watched the game tonight and was very surprised that the Jags could stop the likes of Zach May and the blaze.

Congrats Jags keep it rolling :D

What do you have to do to get a triple minor. I have never heard of anyone getting one of those.

First he got a roughing for punching Herbert in the face, then Herbert and him were jawing at eachother and King wacked him with his stick twice on the way to the box resulting in two slashing calls. It was a very unusual play.

I wouldnt be suprised there the Jags have the best defensemen in the state without question and can shut down any one great player. The real question will be can they shut down the five or six great players that Edina has?

It was a gunfight and only one team had a gun. Its over for Burnsville for another 10 years at least.

Jefferson is a great team. That being said, Burnsville can't compete with the top teams because they just aren't tough enough, (by taking stupid penalties does NOT make you tough) They have about 2 forwards that will ever win any battles along the boards the rest aren't even going in there because they are to chicken. All you have to do to stop May is hit him a few times and he starts his mouth and forgets to play hockey. I never saw any B'ville players in the last few years that had to lip as much as May. They just played hockey and most of the time kick butt. To bad Zach didn't learn from them the last couple of years.
