Thansk...
Thanks Zamman, I knew you’d come through….
Yeah, Mount is a little Jekyll and Hyde this year. They can skate, work heard, and are disciplined…but they do have trouble putting the puck in the net. I saw them play against some quality teams at their Christmas Tournament two weeks ago and they had to scratch and claw to the end for every win.
That Mattson is a nice player. I saw that toe drag roof shot last year when AHA came east to play MSC…sweet. That was a good back and forth game…pretty evenly matched. (Mount pressing for the tying goal in the last minute until Mattson popped in an open netter).
I’m glad that the teams have kept up this home and home series after all these years. It makes for some interesting games. Certainly AHA doesn’t need to travel half way across the county to play quality opponents. And, Mount had some pretty lean teams in some of those years…no match for AHA, and nothing to gain by traveling to MN.
Best of luck to AHA this season.
I’d be interested in hearing the gory details about their game with SSM…..
