East's 4 games in 6 days

Post by dulutheastfan »

It all started last night when they played Rochester Century and lost 3-2.. Now they face Rochester Mayo today at 1 at the Heritage...which im sure Cooper will be in for this game...yes I see the reason why to put in a backup goalie against not a real powerful team to get some ice time but it showed it was too much for East's backup...so for todays game I got east winning 4-0 and also with that I hope Kenny Mellin is doing well best wishes...

Then on Tuesday Flake comes up to play the hounds at the Heritage as well. Forest Lake has not had the best of years so it should be no contest as East will be back on track and playing East hockey

Then the day after Grand Rapids will be coming to Duluth to play East at the DECC...once again GR is not having a good year but records do not matter when 7AA rivals play each other GR will come to play...I hope by then East will not be wore out with all of these games

First game for backup goalie to start wanted to get him more ice time I think Joe Arbour did not play one of easts top defensemen and also in the 2nd kenny mellin got injured and hauled away on strecher all those combine mess up lines and chemistry and leads to a loss east did have 50 SOG tho

I hope that doesn't end up being an excuse if it's a good game....

LIke they took it to Century last night? Just kidding...kind of! :D
Maybe they will take it to GR, but it just seemed odd that you would put that in there, like a "just in case"

Don't take anything away from Century by blaming it on the goalie. Century played a very good game and took advantage of a few really good opportunities.
