Easy on the domination of all 4. I was at their win over Apple Valley and that was far from it. Valley had something like 41 shots I think it was. Chaska's goalie played very well that night only allowing 1 goal if I recall. Jefferson will win this one and I wouldn't count on it being close. Chaska does have a good first line though but after that I was not real impressed by the other lines. So overall they dont have enough firepower the Jags have 2 very solid lines and not to mention the D is very strong.

The Jaguars have 3 solid lines and have the most depth in the state in my opinion.

Chaska cant compete.. Jags 9-0

Looking at Jefferson's upcoming schedule, I think it is pretty safe to say the score will be 5-10 for Jefferson and 0-2 for the other team in most of the games. I hope Moorehead can come to town and give them a fight and the next game against EP should be good.

I'm not coming on here to rip on chaska or any other lake conference team but Jefferson and EP are on a level of their own. The rest of the conference has been disappointing in my mind but you had to expect a down year after last year when there were about 5 to 6 solid teams.

Jefferson has a legit chance of running the table. EP looks (maybe Moorhead) are the only quality games left on their schedule. Sorry Chaska, this game won't be pretty

Why is this even a thread?? Chaska doesn't have a chance and it wont be pretty.

Is Turack still playing for Chaska? I don't hear his name much anymore.

Pointstreak says he has played in all 16 games this season with 11 points.

It looks like Chaska went through 3 goalies and none of them actually faced a lot of shots. Were the goalies just having a bad day or were the jags shots all really high quality?

It was a combo of both, a couple of the goals were snipes but some of them the goalie was so far out of position Jefferson just had to tap the puck in the open net.

Theoneandonly do you think the jags are picking up bad habits because of games like this or willl they be able to get to the reality of better teams and goalies when they hit sections with no problem?

I don't think these type games really make them stronger but they have so much depth I feel they will be able to adjust to the tougher competition fairly well.Although I would like to see the goalie(O'Connor) really tested because a good goalie can make or break a team. He has never seen more than 25 shots in a game.

I didn't see the game but was the scoring from a variety of lines? I know the Jags play 4 lines when they get up on teams?

All 4 lines played in the 3rd period, but the scoring was mostly done by the first 2 lines.

I think its gonna end up hurting them when sections arrive. If they get the 2 seed they will have to play aha and then edina (assuming they win against aha). and that will be the 2 best teams they will play all year back to back

Well then they'll just have to get the #1 seed. :D
Although I would love to see Jefferson play AHA thats always been a fun rivalry.

actually they have a pretty good chance now with edinas loss to hopkins

but i think they need edina to lose one more to ensure they get it

#2 seed? They are a lock for the #1 seed right now. If they stay undefeated there wont be any discussion.

If them and Edina both win out I could see people that would argue Edina as the top seed in that section and i would be able to agree with them

In my eyes it all depends on Jefferson v. EP game Feb 10

How do they decide the seeds? I know the coaches get together and hash it out but how much does strength of schedule help a team get a better seed? How many top ten teams has Edina played and how many have Jefferson and AHA played? Is there a concrete formula they use or not?
