There's no formula. Head-to-head matchups and records within the section are the most important things, but those won't decide this one, barring some improbable upset along the way.

Edina has 8 wins over top-10 teams: EP and Wayzata twice, plus Blaine, Tonka, AHA, and BSM. They also beat Woodbury, who I have at #11.

Jefferson has 2: Wayzata and EP.

Holy Angels hasn't beaten any, though they do have quality wins over Hill and two out-of-state prep schools. They have notable losses to Edina and Tonka, and tied WBL.

This is probably going to end up messily, with the argument coming down to how much Edina's 2 losses against a much more difficult schedule hurt them. Edina also has a few tough games left, most notably 2 with Minnetonka. EP is the only hard game left on Jefferson's schedule.

Thanks Karl that is a lot of info, you are right unless there are some big upsets that will be one tough meeting. It may come down to personalities, liking one coach/program more than another.

Right now i would have this section ranked like this

1. Edina
2. Jefferson
3. Holy Angels
4. Burnsville
5. Chaska
6. Prior Lake
7. Kennedy

I do think the Jags will get the #1 seed if they win out and since Edina now has 3 losses, they will come in as #2.
