I think it's great a small association like Roger's can play Bantam A with the traditional powerhouse's. This team has played well all year long and has to be one of the top 5 favorites and definitely in the top 10 of teams that can home the title.
I totally agree, and there peewee team is doing good now too, and there squirt A team tied Elk River's squirt team last night.

THE TEAM IS VERY STRONG AND I BELIEVE THIS PERSON HAS PLAYED HIMSELF.MY DAD LIVES THERE AND HE IS GLAD THAT I DONT.

Rogers has come a long way in a short time since splitting from Elk River. I commend them for the progress they have made. They should easily take the Detroit Lakes Bantam A tournament and are a legitimate top 5-10 team in the state. The "Joe Six Pack" fathers must be doing something right. GQ must have some issues. You or you're kid not make the 'A' team????
Thank you for making post #8 prove our point once more.
STMA (St. Michael-Albertville) (no need to give your great directions either) has never had success at any youth/High School level.
I see that you and MKLH have a issue but each time you post you are proving you're a coward by throwing shots but never backing anything up with facts.
You have earned zero credibility on here

Fire & Ice GQ is not from STMA. Thank heavens for that!
He knows that I am and has a burr in his saddle for me. Evidently he is upset because I either wouldn't take him (or if GQ is really a dad, his son) for my Icemen team or one of the other teams I put together (see one of his mindless post on previous page).
Again GQ avoided the question and hides behind his computer. Great way to get some credibility, bad mouth people but have no actual facts to back it up.
I miss it when he only post once in a great while, it brightens my day to read his in depth post

We have had some success starting with first year Peewee's, Squirt's and younger.STMA (St. Michael-Albertville) (no need to give your great directions either) has never had success at any youth/High School level.

Hold onto you're horses! GQ sounds a little Al Gore with the claims he's making (not that he would know who that is) - Did you invent the internet too GQ?
There's no way this kid is from STMA or even plays hockey. We don't have "Select" teams that play year round, nor have we been a perennial power house with "top 5 teams" across the board.
Over the last 5 years, STMA has emphasized building the program starting with the initiation level and that hard work is starting to pay off. We have a dedicated group of volunteers whose goal, like all associations, is to provide an opportunity for young athletes to learn and compete.
To rip on volunteers who dedicate a significant amount of time and energy for the sake of our kids is crazy.
Tell us where you're really from GQ, but you need to stop telling people you're from STMA. Idiot!

Maybe they should lock this one right now.
I thought you were from a hockey program. I didn't know they had hockey in St Michael.
It amazes me how the weak have anything to say.
Rogers
Question: Isn't Rogers a part of Elk River school district????
Not really a huge question I guess. I would however bet that Rogers is growing rapidly as are other TC area towns in that ring. This leads to good hockey, always has.
Regarding Detroit Lakes tournement, I asked in another thread how much this team has played outside of its area, no one answered. Rogers really doesn't know what its going to run into in the DL tourny, it will likely be different hockey than they are used to, not saying they won't take it, but, don't be surprised.

you idiot parents are a disgust to everyone. The muslims make you look good. You are a father and not a player. You ream a coach who gives his time to your child. You are sick people and need help. I hate to break it to all you wanna live though your kids hockey career, that it is not gonna happen. let your kids have fun and give the coach respect or you are teaching your kids the worse behavior, your own.. Really, this thread makes me sick, and as a former d1 player and a guy who wants to coach young kids to also be better people, I can not becuase I will face all of you. Get a life outside of your child's
