What a leader this kid must be. Carried the team on his back for a couple of weeks, and now it looks like some of the younger kids are stepping up and filling in for the guys who were kicked off of the team. All of this while playing through injuries?
There is a lot of added pressure on Zepeda with the loss of his teammates. He seems to have accepted the role of team leader and will play with a new rekindled fire. His speed when at full....is fun to watch.

Wow...your name fits and I am not sure why this is such a big deal or a topic. Zepeda was hurt at the end of last year, if I remember right, and sat out the last 5 or 6 games of the regular season. I am not a Hill fan and would like to see my Ponies come out of this Section, but I certainly would not hope that a young player is hurt and I would certainly not make comments about them. Dazed&Confused...clearly about a lot of things.

your very intimidating ponies wont be able to get by the bears tonight or anytime in the future
West St. Paul, moved to Texas, moved back to MN to Woodbury. Dad played for Humboldt. Nice kid. Nice family. Huge part of state championship team. 32 assists last year even though he missed a few games with an injury. Scored biggest goal against WBL in the section final - a 2-1 win.
Zepeda's "injury" is actually a structural problem in his hip which he has had for quite some time and which occasionally flares up, causing great pain. He will eventually need surgery to correct the problem, but since he won't make it any worse, he is playing through it. I was never a big Zepeda fan, but he has done everything you could ask of a player this season. I wish him the best.
