I agree with you on this. No need to run up the score. Sit the first two lines for the third period and let other kids get some ice time, including Mayo's back-up goalie. Tonight is Mayo's sr night so I would think this is a great game to let the senior's enjoy their families and friends.wtbearlk1111 wrote:14-0 with 9 goals from first line would be a class less act

My prediction was with Mayo sitting guys in the 3rd, which is what Coach Grosso did. The top two lines 1 D-man and Yaggy sat the 3rd and the shots were still 14-3 for Mayo.
I had the number of goals correct! The BAT line had 8 goals and 19 pts total in 2 periods. The Spartans also had goals from Goslee, Block, Heroff, O'Reilly, and Dingle.
Mayo 4-8-1=13
Austin 1-0-0=1
Shots
Mayo 26-21-14=61
Austin 4-3-3=10

MAYO SPARTANS!
Just a tad off and not sure where you predicated that the top line would sit? However, you are correct but can't find where you put that in writing and it really was an easy call...SEMinnHockeyNut wrote:My prediction was with Mayo sitting guys in the 3rd, which is what Coach Grosso did. From the PB:
Tom Alexander led Mayo with a seven-point night (two goals, five assists), while Alex Whitney (five goals, one assist) and Brad Fisher (one goal, five assists) each had six points.

also whats with a rule not gettin passed to let some of the mayo JV players play on austins JV cuz austin only had 8 guys n i guess the final was 9-0.....kinda lame.....
