Biggest Player

Post by scoreboard33 »

Who is the biggest player in the state.

To start, I think it might be junior Jimmy Gjere from Irondale/St. Anthony at 6'7'' 270 lbs. He has a scholarship offer from the Gophers to play offensive line.

Derek Forbort and Joe Arbour of East are well over 6 feet, with McLean not far behind them.

Haha, I don't think he's Jimmy...that information was in the paper recently.

But back to the players, McLean graduated last year but he was 6'8" and was playin for Bismark this year. Jimmy Gjere is huge. And I've mentioned this before, but SPA's goalie is about 6'6"

I would think Buddish has to be thrown in there with the other big players. He can physically dominate pretty much anyone.

That kid from St. Paul Johnson a few years back comes to mind...forget his name tho

From my neck of the woods, Section 7A graduated a couple big boys last year by the names of Corrin (I'Falls) and Pernu (Eveleth-Gilbert)...they were both in the 6'6" region

Don't forget Ben Utecht...now the TE for the Cincinnati Bengals, between the pipes in Hastings, he was also in the 6'6, 6'7 mold.
