Feb 6-7 Denver @ Minnesota Duluth
The 6th ranked Pioneers (16-8-3 overall, 12-6-2 WCHA, 1st) travel to Duluth to play the 17th ranked Bulldogs (14-8-6 overall, 8-7-5 WCHA, Tied-4th). UMD is 9-1-3 at the DECC this season, and they need to play well for the remainder of the regular season to secure home ice for the 1st round of the WCHA playoffs.

For UMD to have a shot at home ice and the national tournament, I think their remaining schedule needs to go like this:
vs Denver- split
-They need at least 2 points at home, where they play much better than on the road.
@ Michigan Tech- sweep
-Even though it's a road series, Michigan Tech is a team the Bulldogs need to sweep if they expect to have home ice and a birth in the national tournament.
@ Minnesota- split
-Even though UMD plays poorly on olympic size ice against speedy teams (example @ St Cloud State) the Gophers haven't exactly been playing well lately. I expect a lot of special teams play in this series, and between UMD's powerplay and Stalock in net, I think the Dogs can take a game at Mariucci.
vs Alaska Anchorage- sweep
-Same as Michigan Tech. You have to sweep this team.
That being said, my score predictions for this weekend are:
Denver 3, Minnesota Duluth 1 on Friday
Minnesota Duluth 4, Denver 3 on Saturday
