who scored for DE? how is Forbort and Tardy looking?

I have heard that its 3-3 Jefferson against the Spuds end of second. Jefferson cant seem to stay out of the box and Moorhead is capitalizing

Jefferson wins 4-3 in OT - 5 on 3 goal. Apparently Jefferson had six power plays in a row. Anyone else have info on that?

There were not 6 power plays in a row, I think it was 3.

I heard Faust ripped an blazing slapshot from the point. Tough lose for the Spuds.

A buddy of mine from Moorhead said that Moorhead really brought its A game, and Jefferson in the first two periods seemed shocked that Moorhead brought as much heat as they did. In the 3rd, Jefferson's top talent showcased, and Moorhead seemed to get frustrated and took stupid penalties.

From what I hear Jefferson was a much better team, but did not bring their top game, and Moorhead came out swinging. I also heard from a Jefferson fan that moorhead looked like a very good team, and said he would rather play EP or Edina than play Moorhead again.

I expect big things from the Spuds come sections. Good luck

The Spuds looked very good and outplayed the Jags. I believe they outshot them too which we would be a first for Jefferson. Siiro was out with a shoulder injury so they were juggling around players trying to find a good fit on that line. O'Connor made an amazing save on a 2 on 1 with a minute left to rob the spuds.Overall though it was a good game for both team and a fun one to watch.

I'm not positive, but I think they out shot Centenial too.

Eastview was down 2-1 and came back and won final was 6-2.

East beat Valley with a 4-0 final. Shots were 40-13 DE. Michaelson left 2nd period for Valley with a concussion. The good news was that things are looking promising for Fischer to be back for playoffs as of now but not set in stone. Valley's best chance was a shot off the post.

They also outshot Duluth East in a 4-0 loss, which does not happen often. Getting the shots doesn't seem to be a problem for Moorhead.

The sleeping Bear has awaken.....

Edina 7-0 over Wayzata. All three lines produce. Edina 3-0 over Moorhead in this years Schwanns Cup. Maybe Jefferson will get their wish in Sections.....

Edina was simply too much for Wayzata. The Trojans pulled Simcoe after the first period, no idea why. Nothing went right for Wayzata, too many missed passes, power play was ineffective and several kids have been battling the flu all week. Edina looked very good.

Oddly enough the Edina student section was almost empty.
