I would like to see Hibbing and the Falls in the finals, so that means no pairings of 1 & 4 or 2 & 3.

The IR guys will not vote Marshall up.

If this is true and Marshall beats Virginia, the Duluth teams should not be in this section. End of year wins and sos should be considered too.
Marshall won't get the benefit of the doubt from many of the 7A schools. There is some long-standing disagreements between many of them (not just the IR) and Duluth Marshall -- and some of it stems from what has happened at seeding meetings from their days before they went to section 2A. Many of them also take offense to the fact that Marshall has taken players from their programs in the past.

Your right, they probably shouldn't be in this section. They would get a much fairer shake if they played in 5A with Hermantown and another private school, St. Cloud Cathedral.

Marshall would fit in 5A but who would you add to 7A or would you just keep 7A with 8 teams. But I don't see a change coming any time soon.

Maybe Bemidji now that they are single "a" and have a lot of teams in that section.
