Geez - are you that old, or are you from Northfield, where the CoStars banner still flies at the arena?

It was a clever team name in the 70's, when the school had just gone CoEd. I still have an old Costars hockey jersey around someplace

Hopefully i can get out to richfield to watch this.

BSM 4
AHA 2

BSM's big first line is to much for the small line of Mattson and the 3 reilys.

Patterson 3 assist's
Glynn, Nelson, Horn, Borer with the goals

AHA 4
BSM 3
THe rivarly between these two teams is intense, i wouldnt be surprised if there was a fight or two on the ice or in the stands. I think the STARS will have more fire power and their defense has somewhat improved since the beginning of the season. But then again, benilde could pull off a win. THey had atleast (correction?) 2 goals on shattuck whereas the Stars had none. This will be a big one.

Actually BSM had 3, but a different team on a different night.....

I am a CO*STAR, I was there in the 70's.

I am saying AHA 4 BSM 2. CLoser than most will think, but contrary to others opinions. BSM's big line will wish they were smaller too keep up with the small line of Mattson, Haeg and the Reillys.

Come on down and say hi when you are there.

It will all come down to goaltending. Both Myers and Burke are usually outstanding. Holy Angels is a better team offensively and BSM might have the edge defensively.

I'm going with Holy Angels 5-3 (with an empty netter)

BSM's D-men should shut down the Reilly boys and not alow mattson to go too crazy. Look for Defense and goaltending to pull this one out for BSM.

I think that this all comes down to if Benilde can contain mattson and not let him go to crazy I think it will be a very defensive battle i would say either 2-1 or 1-0 not sure who though

Benilde is comming off of a tough loss against a hot and cold Totino team who is currently sizzling. Holy Angels has played no one in the past month. The Benilde seniors have yet to beat the AHA Stars and I think they will lead them into battle with a huge chip on their shoulders. I say Benilde comes out hot and takes a big lead through the first periods and is able to hang on through a wild third. Meyers steps up, 3-1 BSM.

Great 1st period by the Stars, but couldn't get the puck in the net for a while there. I'll give kudos to BSM--their goal was NICE! I was also very sad to see it was their Senior Night for the Stars--they have a great senior class this year.
