7AA

1. Duluth East (3-0) - Beat CEC, Anoka, and Elk River
2. Elk River (4-1) - Beat Forest Lake, Anoka, Andover, and Rapids; lost
to East.
3. Rapids (2-1-1) - Beat Forest Lake and Anoka; tied CEC

River and Rapids; tied Andover.
5. Andover (1-1-1) - Beat CEC; lost to Elk River; tied Forest Lake.
6. Cambridge-Isanti - Beat St. Francis and CEC; lost to Forest Lake

7. CEC - (0-3-1) - Lost to East, Cambridge-Isanti, and Andover; tied

9. St. Francis (1-1) - Beat Princeton and lost to Cambridge-Isanti.
10. Princeton (1-1) - Beat Cambridge-Isanti and lost to St. Francis.

I don't think the top five seeds will change, but the bottom five probably will.

Looking at section games, they still beat Virginia....
Now the loss last night makes it impossible to get #1 seed in my book but if they tie or win with Virginia in their next game, tie or win or stay within 2 with Hibbing AND beat Greenway (and no other schockers), they will be #2.

Now Marshall is the unknown, with a game with Virginia left on their schedule, they need to win, or 4th is their spot.

Virginia needs to beat Hibbing and IFalls and play Marshall close.
Hibbing beats Virginia tonight and #1 is probably theirs...
I am not sure when the last game with Virginia comes (before or after they do seeding).

Greenway could catapult by winning over Two Harbors, Duluth Central and Eveleth and winning or having two good games with Virginia.

I really should drive to Hibbing tonight.

Duluth Marshall's record is 1-1. They beat Greenway and lost to Hibbing. The have games left with Virginia and Duluth Central.

Maybe this is the way it will be in the end, but I don't see how I Falls would be ranked ahead of Marshall when Marshall beat Greenway and Falls lost to them.

Maybe not the rankings as of right now, but this is how I see it ending up. Marshall has been struggling lately and with Falls loss to Greenway, I think Hibbing and Virginia will be the teams playing to go to the X in March. The Falls and Marshall could switch spots, but I see Hibbing and Virginia being 1 and 2.

On the East-Cloquet thread I put this possible section seeding up for 7AA:

1. East
2. Elk River
3. Grand Rapids
4. Andover
5. Forest Lake
6. St. Francis
7. Cambridge
8. Cloquet
9. Princeton
10. Anoka

This is no longer a 1-team section, though. Elk River is a serious threat to go to State.
